Introduction
Peepers Opticians is a successful independent practice, privately owned and
run by the husband and wife team of Edward and Ann Ukleja. Since opening in
1986, the practice has flourished and in 1998 we moved to a larger and more
prominent location in the centre of Banbury High Street.

years we have established a tremendous reputation within the local community
for our caring and professional approach to eyecare. As an independent practice,
all our patients know that they will only ever receive un-biased, qualified
advice on their visual requirements, which is probably why so many are now
friends!
When we
moved to our current premises in 1998, we went to great lengths to ensure
that the ambiance of our new practice was both relaxed and reassuring and,
judging by subsequent comments, this seems to have been achieved. Couple this
with our on-going policy of investing in the latest eye examination and dispensing
systems technology and you you have a highly motivated group of professionals
with access to superb technology and your best interests at heart!
Precision

Our policy
is to offer high quality eyewear at an affordable and fair price. To achieve
this aim we stock a wide range of spectacle frames from budget styles through
to the very latest in fashionable designer collections. Our experienced staff
are well versed in frame selection and are on hand to help and advise you
pick frame styles that best suit you. Furthermore, all our spectacles are
supplied with quality, lightweight lenses meaning that you will see as well
as you look in spectacles from Peepers! We also have a great deal of experience
with the various lens types now available and are pleased to advise all of
those with specific visual needs such as varifocals or glasses for particular
work or leisure tasks.
The advent
of one day disposable contact lenses has made the wearing of contact lenses
far more acceptable than in the past. If you are a first time contact lens
wearer we will first assess your eyes for suitability and we can offer impartial
advice on all the contact lens options now available.
On-site repairs and maintenance
Although
we do not actively promote the one hour spectacle concept, because it takes
longer than one hour to achieve a reasonable degree of quality, we do have
an in-house workshop and can offer same day service under some circumstance.
This workshop also enables us to carry out on-site repairs and adjustments
to ensure that your spectacles remain in good condition.
